Job summary

DRT Aerospace, LLC in Sidney, Ohio is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to manage inbound and outbound materials in a precision machining environment. You will verify shipments, enter data into ERP, and support inventory control while partnering with Production, Purchasing and Quality teams.

This role operates 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with overtime. Strong attention to detail, experience in shipping/receiving, and familiarity with ERP systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, or manufacturing logistics.
• Experience using ERP systems or inventory management software preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to read and understand shipping documents and basic instructions.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and inspect incoming materials against purchase orders.
• Enter receiving transactions into ERP or inventory systems.
• Prepare, package, and process customer shipments with shipping docs.
• Schedule freight pickups and coordinate with carriers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
• Keep shipping/warehouse areas organized, safe, and compliant with OSHA.
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
