Job summary

DRT Holdings in Sidney, OH is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate Lathe/HMC/VMC machines on 1st shift. You will read blueprints, apply GD&T, adjust tooling, and perform first-piece inspections to ensure part quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC Milling machines, including HMCs and VMCs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and manufacturing specifications.
• Experience with tooling selection, fixture setup, and precision measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Milling Machines, HMCs, and VMCs.
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, work offsets, and first-piece inspections.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements.
• Manufacture precision aerospace components to tight tolerances.
• Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, and other precision measuring tools.
• Make tooling and program adjustments to maintain quality and production standards.
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor tooling performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Accurately complete production, inspection, and quality documentation.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to meet customer expectations and delivery schedules.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
