Job summary

DRT Holdings, LLC in Sidney, OH, is hiring a Machinist Lathe/HMC/VMC for the 1st shift. You will set up and operate CNC milling machines including HMCs and VMCs to manufacture precision aerospace components, read blueprints, GD&T, and perform first-piece inspections.

Responsibilities include adjusting tooling, coordinating with Quality and Engineering, maintaining safety, and documenting production and inspection results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC Milling machines, including HMCs and VMCs.
• Ability to read blueprints, GD&T, and manufacturing specifications.
• Experience with tooling selection, fixture setup, and precision measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Milling Machines, HMCs, and VMCs.
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, work offsets, and first-piece inspections.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements.
• Manufacture precision aerospace components to tight tolerances.
• Conduct in-process inspections using calipers and micrometers.
• Make tooling and program adjustments to maintain quality.
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor tooling performance and identify process improvements.
• Complete production, inspection and quality documentation.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to meet schedules.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
