Job summary

Insight Global in El Segundo, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Material Specialist to support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment.

You will verify materials against orders, manage stock, perform cycle counts, prepare outbound shipments, and operate forklifts safely on the 9/80 shift (6:00 AM–3:30 PM). This role requires computer literacy and experience with ERP/inventory systems.

Qualifications

• Must be computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Must have 1+ year(s) experience working with ERP/inventory management system.
• High school diploma or equivalent - Experience in Shipping Receiving and Inventory management in an Aerospace environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials; verify against orders and shipping docs.
• Store, organize, and distribute inventory to designated locations.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and transactions.
• Prepare and track outbound shipments using carriers such as FedEx and UPS.
• Kit and issue materials to production teams in a timely manner.
• Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records within company systems.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Follow ESD, quality, and inventory control procedures.
• Keep warehouse and stockroom areas organized, clean, and compliant with company standards.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Specialist to support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring materials are received, stored, tracked, and delivered accurately to support production and operational needs.

This is a 1st Shift, 9/80 position, 6AM - 3:30PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials and verify against purchase orders and shipping documentation.
• Store, organize, and distribute inventory to designated locations.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and inventory transactions.
• Prepare and track outbound shipments using carriers such as FedEx and UPS.
• Kit and issue materials to production teams in a timely manner.

Pay Rate: $29.42/hr - $47.09/hr
