Job summary

JB Hunt is seeking a Manager Trainee for Spring 2027 Start in the Supply Chain department. Under supervision, you will learn to manage a small driver count and non-traditional shifts, ensuring safe and timely freight movement and best-in-class customer service.

You will be trained to comply with DOT regulations and manage drivers while coordinating with internal and external contacts for planning and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation/Logistics, or related field.
• 1 year of experience in management, transportation/logistics, business administration, account management, or related field, or equivalent military experience.
• Willing to travel to account locations when applicable.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Learn to build relationships with drivers and safe outside carriers to set up new carriers.
• Fill in for absent personnel and support special projects to optimize fleet operations.
• Learn to train drivers and staff on internal systems and processes.
• Analyze and present customer reporting and financial analysis for improving profitability.
