Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HS diploma with 1 year experience in management/transportation/logistics or related field.
• Willingness to travel to account locations and company events.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights/weekends.
• Willingness to regionally relocate depending on account assignment.

Responsibilities

• Learn to build and maintain relationships with drivers and safe outside carriers to ensure seamless carrier setup.
• Fill in for absent personnel and participate in special projects to optimize fleet operations and profitability.
• Learn personnel management including training and orientation of drivers and employees.
• Maximize efficiency of fleet operations and profitability; create and present customer reporting and financial analysis.
• Gain knowledge of inventory, assets, and assignment of drivers to balance equipment in market.
• Perform administrative duties such as payroll, budgeting, invoicing, and reporting.
• Learn to manage yard operations and coordinate with maintenance for preventive services.
• Work with drivers, customers, and company personnel to resolve service issues and plan routes.
• Maintain safety culture with driver safety messages, trainings, and DOT compliance.
