Responsibilities

• Manage 200-300 shipments per month, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Oversee carrier relations including negotiation and dispute resolution.
• Handle various product shipments including LTL and ocean freight.

Job description

An outstanding, full-time opening has become available in the Zionsville, IN area for a local individual with 5+ years’ experience as a Logistics Manager with a background in Manufacturing related Supply Chain Management. This position would earn a generous base salary and a loaded benefits package including medical benefits, a 401K w/ matching, 3 weeks + 5 personal days PTO, and other outstanding perks.

All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration:

• DO NOT APPLY unless you have 5+ years of Supply Chain Management experience within a product manufacturing capacity.

• Experience with International and Domestic Logistics including import/export with USA, Mexico, Canada, and China is a MUST
• Demonstrated experience managing carrier relations including freight contracts, invoice disputes/claims, tracking and compliance is a MUST
• Experience with varying sized products, load sheets, LTL, Flatbed Load, UPS/parcel shipments, ocean freight and port knowledge is a MUST
• Proven experience managing 200-300 shipments per month is PREFERRED
• Experience with Prextra ERP system and MyCarrier TMS system or related is a BIG PLUS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related is a BIG PLUS
• Customs Federal regulations (CFR19) knowledge is a PLUS
