Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, SCM, business administration, or equivalent.
• 5 years in logistics or supply chain with supervisory experience.
• Experience with WMS, TMS, and ERP systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Understanding of DOT and OSHA regulations.

Responsabilités

• Develop and optimize logistics strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee daily logistics ops including transportation, warehousing, inventory and order fulfillment.
• Negotiate carrier contracts and manage 3PL relationships.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma.

Are you an experienced logistics leader ready to drive efficiency and innovation?

Our clientis seeking a seasoned professional to oversee their logistics and distribution operations. This pivotal role involves planning, coordinating, and optimizing the movement of materials and inventory across the supply chain. You will ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery while leading a dedicated team in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to meet business objectives.
• Manage daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
• Negotiate and maintain relationships with third-party logistics providers and carriers.
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
• Optimize transportation modes and routing for cost, speed, and service balance.
• Oversee warehouse operations and ensure accurate inventory management.
• Lead and develop the logistics and warehouse team, focusing on performance and training.
• Ensure compliance with transportation, safety, and customs regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics with demand forecasts and customer needs.
• Identify process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives.Manage the logistics budget and control related costs.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.
• Maintain accurate documentation for shipments, inventory, and compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of progressive experience in logistics or supply chain operations, with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of transportation modes, freight management, and inventory control.
• Experience with WMS, TMS, and ERP systems.
• Proven ability to negotiate carrier contracts and manage 3PL relationships.
• Solid analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Understanding of DOT, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
