Job summary

Advanced-Ground-Systems-Engineering is seeking an International Logistics Specialist to manage and coordinate global shipments across suppliers, warehouses, and customers in a high‑reliability aerospace environment.

You will handle airfreight, FTZ processes, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure on‑time delivery and regulatory compliance across North America, Europe, and Asia. The role is on‑site in Cincinnati, OH with room to optimize systems and processes.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of international logistics and shipping coordination experience across global trade lanes.
  • Experience with drop shipping and direct supplier-to-customer fulfillment models.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control procedures.
  • Experience with ERP, WMS, or TMS systems (Epicor preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Free Trade Zone (FTZ) processes and international shipping compliance.
  • Experience coordinating with international carriers, especially airfreight providers.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive shipments with strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills across customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments.
  • Exposure to global trade compliance and customs documentation.
  • Experience improving shipping processes or reducing transit delays.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with domestic and international suppliers, carriers, and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments, verifying quantities and documentation against purchase orders.
  • Prepare and process customer orders, including packaging, labeling, and shipping documentation.
  • Monitor shipment progress and proactively communicate delivery updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, shipping logs, and transportation documentation within company systems.
  • Partner with logistics providers and carriers to schedule shipments, optimize routes, and resolve transportation issues.
  • Ensure compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations, FTZ requirements, and customer standards.
  • Identify and resolve delays or operational challenges to maintain high service levels and support 100% on-time delivery goals.

Work Environment
