• Inventory control: maintain accurate logs, track shipments, and organize the warehouse floor.
• Compliance: follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities and Processes

• Receiving:Unloading trucks, comparing incoming goods against purchase orders, identifying damage, and updating inventory systems.
• Shipping:Picking and packing orders, labeling packages, preparing shipping documents (e.g., packing slips), and loading trucks.
• Inventory Control:Maintaining accurate logs, tracking shipments, and organizing the warehouse floor.
• Compliance:Adhering to safety protocols

Key Skills and Requirements

• Technical Skills:Proficiency in Inventory Management Systems (IMS), including understanding of basic ERP processes, as well as internal documentation software.
• Physical Stamina:Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs), stand for long periods, and navigate, bend, or crawl in warehouse environments.
• Organizational Skills:High attention to detail for verifying part numbers, quantities, and addressing mistakes.
• Equipment Operation:Certification and experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand tools.
• Communication:Interpersonal skills to interact with carriers, vendors, and internal departments.
