Job summary

Randstad USA in New York, Village of Freeport, is hiring a Warehouse Production Associate to be the heartbeat of the facility. You will manage inventory, prep shipments, and support production with a hands-on, safety-first approach.

Requirements include 1-3 years of warehouse experience, valid driver’s license, forklift and ERP/scanner familiarity, and the ability to work first shift 7:30 AM–4 PM.

Responsibilities

• Stage raw materials and packaging for manufacturing daily.

• Perform barcode scanning and labeling with ERP.
• Use scanner and ERP for transactions to keep inventory accurate.
• Receive and store delivered products/materials.
• Collaborate with foremen and warehouse manager to improve efficiency.
• Book trucks for delivery/pickup via portals.
• Follow company policies and safety protocols.
• Assist production on the manufacturing floor as needed.

Responsibilities

• Stage raw materials and packaging materials for manufacturing daily.
• Supply raw materials and packaging materials to manufacturing on demand.
• Move finished goods into the warehouse from production.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe always.
• Perform barcode scanning and labelling using a scanner and ERP system.
• Must be able to use a scanner and an ERP system for transactions to maintain accurateinventory and ensure the raw materials are kept safe.
• Receiving and storing delivered products/raw materials.
• Collaborate with the foremen and Logistics/Warehouse Manager to optimize workflow andimprove operational efficiency in the warehouse.
• Book trucks for delivery of parts/materials to LDM Sub-Contractors and for pickup of LDM’s finished goods for delivery to customer specific locations based on purchase orders using designated booking portals.
• Adhere to LDM’s policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Perform special assignments/projects and other duties as assigned by theLogistics/Warehouse Manager.
• Work on the manufacturing floor with the production team helping where necessary as needed.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 7 hours at one time
