Penske Logistics is seeking a Load Planner in Connecticut to coordinate freight movement and customer service. You will process orders, plan shipments, tender freight to carriers, and update the Transportation Manager System while providing visibility to management and customers.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work first, second, or third shifts. Previous Transportation/Supply Chain experience is preferred, with a bachelor’s degree valued.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's preferred.
• 1+ year of Transportation or Supply Chain experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn and operate multiple computer systems.
• Ability to build professional relationships with customers and Penske team.
• Ability to think critically, analyze information, and decide actions per SOP.
• Willingness to work first, second, or third shifts; scheduling flexibility.
• Desire to add value beyond expectations.
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Load-building: add shipments to loads, rate, secure carrier coverage, set appointments.
• Provide excellent service to assigned accounts.
• Manage call center and shared email responsibilities.
• Provide shipment visibility and tracking to management and customers.
• Recover customer loads as needed.
• Complete daily logs and trackers; guide others via phone and email.
• Handle additional projects and tasks assigned by supervisor.
