Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's in Business or Supply Chain preferred.
• 1+ year of Transportation/Supply Chain experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn and operate various computer systems.
• Ability to build professional relationships with customers and Penske associates.
• Willingness to travel and work varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate load-building by adding shipments and securing carrier coverage.
• Provide excellent customer service to assigned accounts.
• Manage call center and shared email box responsibilities.
• Track shipments and provide visibility to management and customers.
• Recover customer loads and maintain daily logs.
• Complete instructions for other shifts and assist with ad-hoc projects.
