Job summary

Bradford Consolidation Logistics (BCL) seeks a General Manager to oversee a central receiving and storage center, loading dock operations, and vendor relationships. Lead Operations Managers and Logistics Technicians to enhance warehouse efficiency and customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of leadership experience in logistics or warehouse operations.
• 5+ years of experience leading teammates and teams, including hiring, coaching, development, and performance improvement.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, particularly with executives and stakeholders using PowerPoint and other media.

Responsibilities

• Implement company goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and process improvements to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Ensure warehouse teams are trained, professional, client-focused, and compliant with security, safety, and company requirements.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to uphold performance standards and cultivate relationships.
• Develop operating procedures, policies, and PDPs to achieve financial targets, KPIs, and contractual metrics.
• Provide leadership and coordinate with Operations Managers to optimize production, staffing, vehicle utilization, and material handling equipment.
• Manage daily logistics operations, delivery volumes, vendors, and logistics technicians while ensuring safe warehouse performance.
• Monitor operational reporting and drive monthly, quarterly, and annual process improvements.
