Job summary

Barrett Distribution Centers seeks a General Manager to lead the operation and facilities, driving efficiency, safety, and client satisfaction. You'll direct staff development, oversee budgeting and revenue growth, and maintain strong client relationships to meet growth goals.

The role reports to the Regional VP of Operations and runs Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a compensation range of $160K–$175K depending on experience. Strong leadership and operational excellence are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred; 15+ years in lieu of degree considered.
• 10+ years of supervisory experience in warehouse/distribution environment.
• Working knowledge of inventory control, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications; 3PL operations and Synapse WMS preferred.
• English communication skills; bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operation and facility activities; drive efficiency and revenue growth.
• Provide daily oversight and strategic vision; develop short- and long-range plans.
• Manage budgets, revenue projections, and KPI achievement to meet targets.
• Handle client escalations and ensure quality control across processes.
• Ensure OSHA/MSDS compliance and maintain a safe, organized facility.
