Job summary

ProTrans International Holdings is seeking a Dispatcher to manage the entry and exit of equipment and oversee local deliveries and OTR trailer movements at the Duncan facility. You will dispatch local drivers, handle inquiries, and maintain logs and reports to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, basic data-entry, and proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish; able to read English and write routine reports.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with drivers and personnel.
• Able to perform data entry and maintain logs and records accurately.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch local carrier city and yard drivers.
• Answer the ProTrans dispatch phone and respond to inquiries.
• Notify transportation personnel promptly of delays, damages, or issues.
• Maintain dispatch and yard move logs and equipment issued logs.
• Prepare end-of-day reports and issue gate passes.
• Coordinate with Dock Coordinators, SCRs, and customers for missed shipments or quantity issues.
• Manage driver radios and time sheets; provide directions as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the dispatch function.
