Job summary

PROTRANS INTERNATIONAL LLC in Duncan, SC seeks a full-time Dispatcher to manage entry/exit of equipment and local deliveries as well as OTR trailers. You will dispatch drivers, handle inquiries, and keep logs and reports up to date.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as a Dispatcher in an LTL transportation environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish; good reading and writing skills in both languages.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch local carrier city and yard drivers.
• Answer the ProTrans dispatch phone.
• Coordinate with Transportation Manager and SCRs.
• Notify personnel of delays, damages, or breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Maintain dispatch and yard move logs and keep paperwork accurate.
