Job summary

ProTrans International Holdings in Duncan, SC, is seeking a Regular Full-Time Dispatcher responsible for the entering and exit of equipment and the management of local deliveries and OTR trailers. You will dispatch local drivers, answer the dispatch phone, and coordinate with the transportation team to ensure timely shipments and accurate records.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of dispatcher experience in an LTL environment, and bilingual English/Spanish

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year recent Dispatcher experience in an LTL environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch local carrier city and yard drivers.
• Answer the ProTrans dispatch phone and respond to inquiries.
• Notify transportation personnel of delays and equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain dispatch and yard move logs and paperwork accuracy.
• Coordinate with Dock Coordinators, SCRs, and customers for missed shipments.
• Create end-of-day reports and oversee equipment logs.
