Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support shipment movement and delivery execution from Cary, NC. Shift: Tue–Fri 1pm–9:30pm, Sat 7am–3:30pm.

You will coordinate with internal teams, agents, airlines, and partners; process shipment data; monitor active shipments; verify documents; and maintain clear information flow for timely, accurate operations. Required: 3+ years in logistics or related fields; High School Diploma/GED; associate degree preferred; CSCP/CLTD/CPIM or similar

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Associate's degree in logistics, supply chain, transportation, business administration, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics operations, transportation coordination, shipment tracking, customer service operations or related field.
• CSCP, CLTD, CPIM or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates shipment movement activities with internal teams, network offices, agents, airlines, and service partners to support timely transit and delivery execution.
• Processes shipment data, status updates, and operational records in applicable systems to maintain accuracy, traceability, and shipment visibility.
• Monitors active shipments and communicates delays, exceptions, and routing issues to relevant stakeholders to support timely resolution and continuity of service.
• Verifies shipment documentation, tracking details, and transaction records to support compliance with transportation requirements and internal procedures.
• Maintains information flow across customer service, operations, and transportation partners to support aligned execution and responsive issue handling.
• Reviews operational trends and recurring shipment issues and provides recommendations to improve workflow, service consistency, and data accuracy.
• Supports daily coverage of transportation and customer service activities to sustain operational continuity across scheduled service periods.
