Job summary

RXO Inc. is seeking a Logistics Specialist to provide essential logistics support, including order entry, routing and dispatching, and traffic coordination across North America. The role emphasizes accuracy, communication, and timely problem-solving to keep shipments moving.

The position requires at least 1 year of logistics experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong knowledge of the transportation industry. Weekend availability is part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of the transportation industry.
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders.
• Update account managers on problem loads and actions taken; inform receivers and customers on load status.
• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries; verify on-time arrival and condition.
• Take driver check calls to ensure on-time delivery and validate load data for accounting.
• Investigate overages, shortages, damages and complete documentation.
• Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments; accept or decline loads as directed.
• Provide detailed directions to route drivers properly.
