Job summary

Echo Global Logistics is seeking a Dispatcher to join Roadtex Transportation, a newer addition to the Echo family. This role focuses on daily route planning, real-time tracking, and carrier communications to ensure timely deliveries.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of dispatch or logistics experience and be proficient with standard office tools and a TMS. Based in California, the Dispatcher will work with schedulers and drivers, handling dynamic routing, issue resolution, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with dispatch or transportation planning systems (TMS).
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily routes to optimize delivery efficiency and meet commitments.
• Track and trace shipments and provide updates to teams.
• Coordinate with 3rd-party carriers and internal teams on schedules.
• Ensure accurate dispatch records and data for reporting and analysis.
• Respond quickly to issues and adjust routes as needed.
