Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent with 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• Ability to supervise dispatch operations and schedule staff.
• Experience maintaining records and reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to train and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work schedules to ensure adequate shift coverage.
• Assign duties and ensure conformance to policies.
• Review dispatch operations to identify improvements.
• Review and modify computer‑aided dispatch systems.
• Test and operate radio, telephone, computer and other equipment.
• Prepare, review, and maintain reports, statistics and records.
• Direct drivers and coordinate with customers to resolve issues.
• Establish service or delivery routes and assign vehicles.
