Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or a related area preferred.
• Administrative support, customer service or dock operations experience preferred.
• Knowledge of concepts, practices and transportation regulations including DOT regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Monitors facility reporting metrics related to service, safety, cost and quality daily and communicates results with BC/AOs.
• Coordinates day-to-day dispatch changes for ICs/ISPs and enters updates into Vision/VRP systems.
• Investigates customer service complaints and communicates resolutions to customers.
• Escalates unresolved issues to appropriate management.
• Maintains vehicle maintenance information and ensures DOT standards are met for company and vendor equipment.
• Creates and maintains files for equipment and insurance/maintenance documents.
• Dispatches linehaul transportation equipment and records dispatch events in the system.
• Investigates delays or equipment failures and implements contingency plans to ensure on-time delivery.
• May conduct driver release audits and organize driver training classes.
