Job summary

Federal Express Corporation seeks a detail-oriented operations professional to monitor metrics and coordinate dispatch for linehaul movements. You will interact with BC/AOs, ISPs, and ICs to implement load plan changes, investigate complaints, and maintain DOT-compliant driver records.

The role requires strong customer service, data interpretation, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Daily tasks include updating reports, ensuring timely deliveries, and contributing to corrective action plans

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics preferred.
• Administrative/support or dock operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors facility reporting metrics related to service, safety, cost and quality daily; investigates issues with BC/AOs and corrects errors in systems.
• Coordinates day-to-day operations with BC/AOs of ICs/ISPs and implements load plan changes in Vision/VRP systems.
• Investigates customer service complaints (disputed deliveries, missing packages, early/late pickups) and communicates resolutions to customers.
• Escalates unresolved issues to management and maintains files per DOT requirements for drivers.
• Creates and maintains vehicle/equipment files, including insurance and maintenance documents.
• Oversees dispatch of linehaul equipment and logs all dispatch events to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Reports linehaul delays, accidents, or equipment failures and implements contingency plans.
• May conduct driver training and participate in corrective action plans as needed.
