Job summary

Saia is seeking a Customer Service professional to handle inbound inquiries and disputes related to freight. You will work with terminal operations to schedule deliveries, review paperwork, and support billing and data entry in a fast-paced office environment.

The role requires strong English communication, 18+ years of age, and a high school diploma. Prior transportation or customer service experience is preferred, with opportunities to grow within a nationwide network.

Qualifications

Read, write, communicate and comprehend English to perform tasks and interact with customers, management and government representatives.
Experience in transportation or customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

Handle inbound calls and emails; resolve escalated inquiries and maintain positive customer experience.
Investigate freight issues and manage claims processes to resolve disputes.
Coordinate with terminal operations and dispatch to confirm availability and schedule deliveries.
Prepare and review shipment and dispute paperwork for accuracy.
Support billing, data entry and recordkeeping; update terminal information.
Conduct driver check-ins to verify deliveries and address service concerns.
Identify recurring service issues and suggest improvements to enhance the customer experience.
