Job summary

Anderson Trucking Service is seeking a Customer Service Support Representative (CSSR) to strengthen customer relationships and support our transportation operations. You will serve as the bridge between customers, sales, and operations, ensuring loads are managed accurately and efficiently with exceptional service.

In this fast-paced role, you will build trust with customers, proactively solve challenges, and collaborate across departments to deliver outstanding experiences.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in customer service, sales, marketing, transportation, or related field.
• Strong customer service, relationship-building, and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• General knowledge of U.S. geography and basic map-reading skills preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: primary liaison between customers and ATS operations, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
• Build and maintain trust-based customer relationships by understanding business needs and providing solution-focused support.
• Manage load data and sales information: enter and maintain load details, pricing, negotiated rates, specs, and related data in company systems.
• Collaborate across departments to support customer needs and ensure seamless service execution.
• Support customer growth and retention by communicating feedback, opportunities, and market insights.
