Job summary

Maersk USA is seeking a Customer Service Representative to ensure accurate, timely freight movement within our service standards. You will process, verify, and organize documentation to initiate and complete shipments, coordinating with customers, brokers, and internal teams to resolve issues daily.

Qualifications

• Ensure accurate and timely movement of freight within service standards.
• Process and organize all documentation to initiate and complete freight movements.

Responsibilities

• Verify delivery orders and bills of lading are received and correct.
• Check data in the system and input any missing data.
• Ensure the WMS system is updated and accurate.
• Ensure all documentation is processed in a timely manner.
• Record all customs clearance from the broker daily.
• Maintain data integrity for distribution with no exceptions.
• Process paperwork to operations at container level.
• Communicate daily with customer, broker and other departments regarding issues.
• Monitor and report any service failures to the Customer Service Manager.
• Handle all customer requests promptly.
• Assist other CSR staff as needed and when time permits.
• Cross-train in other areas of the team.
• Support quality programs and special projects as assigned.
