Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN in Sharon Hill, PA is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to enter shipment data, generate documents, and arrange export clearance with U.S. Customs.

You will apply rates, track shipments from origin to destination, and coordinate carrier pick-ups. The role requires at least 2 years in an office or customer service setting, data entry experience, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter shipment data into computer system to generate required documents and labels, apply rates and charges, arrange export clearance through U.S. Customs.
• Track shipments with carriers from origin to destination.
• Arrange pick-up of shipments from customer or vendor.
• Arrange flights with airlines for customer shipments, provide flight information and shipment details to customers.
• Print documents for shipments, then assemble and distribute as required for export.
• Print and apply cargo labels to shipments.
• Create invoices for customer shipments.
• Provide service and support to customers and overseas offices regarding status, transit, or irregularities of shipments.
