Job summary

NOTS Logistics LLC is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for our Shippensburg, PA facility. The role covers both planning and execution of freight movements, plus managing shipping, receiving, and inventory accuracy at the site.

You will plan shipments, tender freight to third-party carriers, and maintain shipment records in the WMS/TMS. This position requires strong problem-solving and collaborative skills and offers full-time hours in a day shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in the logistics industry; 1+ year in transportation, supply chain, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Working knowledge of WMS concepts and best practices; experience with TMS strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Load Building & Optimization: build and optimize shipments using the TMS, add shipments to loads, rate loads, secure carrier coverage and set appointments.
• Order Processing: obtain and process customer orders, tender freight to third-party carriers, and keep the TMS current.
• Shipping & Receiving: use WMS and TMS to maintain accuracy of shipments, receipts and inventories.
• Shipment Visibility & Auditing: track shipments, provide oversight, audit, investigate load exceptions and troubleshoot issues.
• Load Recovery: recover customer loads and resolve service failures promptly.
• Customer Service: deliver excellent service to assigned accounts and respond to inquiries.
