Job summary

Vesuvius is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage outbound shipments to customers, warehouses, and distribution points. You will schedule carriers, monitor transport, and resolve delays to ensure on-time delivery, while maintaining shipment visibility for internal teams.

Responsibilities include preparing shipping documents, supporting domestic and international compliance, and collaborating with Customer Service, Planning, and Warehouse Operations to optimize logistics and cost performance.

Qualifications

2+ years of logistics, shipping, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Knowledge of inventory management, distribution, and transportation processes.
Experience using ERP systems (SAP, JDE, or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Coordinate outbound shipments to customers, warehouses, and distribution locations.
Schedule transportation with approved carriers and logistics providers.
Monitor shipments and resolve transportation issues, delays, and delivery exceptions.
Support OTIF targets and provide shipment visibility to stakeholders.
Prepare shipping documentation and ensure compliance with export requirements.
Collaborate with Customer Service, Planning, Warehouse Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
