Job summary

Avolta, including Dufry and HMSHost Corporation, is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to manage inbound and outbound shipments for its US distribution centers. You will coordinate carrier pickups, prepare documentation, and track shipments to keep operations on schedule.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in shipping/logistics, familiarity with TMS/WMS, and strong attention to detail. Travel up to 10% may be required, with opportunities in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year in shipping, distribution, logistics, or inventory management.
• Experience in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Retail, or Distribution.
• Proficiency with TMS or WMS and ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipments to support distribution center operations.
• Schedule carrier pickups and manage bookings in TMS.
• Track shipments and inform stakeholders of status and delays.
• Review shipping documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams to load and ship per schedule.
• Maintain shipment records in systems and reports.
• Assist domestic and international shipping per policy and requirements.
• Communicate with carriers and brokers to resolve issues.
