Responsibilities

• Coordinate and negotiate freight rates with transportation providers.
• Monitor outbound shipments to ensure on-time transit.
• Communicate issues, delays, or budget restraints with sales team.
• Review purchase orders and shipping documents for accuracy.
• Prepare Bill of Ladings and send documents to billing.
• Develop processes to improve supply chain efficiency.
• Enter receivers/manifests from steel mills via rail or truck.
• Manage shipping schedule showing daily shipments.
• Read and understand material certifications.
• Ensure traffic flow through the warehouse is efficient.
