Job summary

Syfan Logistics is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support the operations team by coordinating with carriers and customers to ensure on-time shipments. You will maintain strong relationships and provide high-level service while using its TMS and other logistics tools.

Ideal candidates have excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills and can adapt to changing loads in a fast-paced environment. This is an on-site role in a professional office setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and logistics software (TMS)
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Dispatches carriers by phone and computer in an efficient and professional manner.
• Manages load information including pick-up and delivery times for all shipments using logistics management software.
• Tracks and communicates the movements of drivers to shippers and receivers in accordance with established procedures and load specific information.
• Directs and resolves inbound calls from drivers and carriers to obtain accurate status and location updates.
• Updates Carrier Sales and Customer Sales Reps of any shipment delays or issues when required.
• Validates all load data prior to delivery and addresses product discrepancies as needed.
• Documents the required details of all communications with carriers and customers in the TMS logs.
• Proactively identify load issues and work with the team to implement solutions.
• Performs other essential duties as assigned by management to support optimal operations.
