Job summary

The Logistics Coordinator I at Kenco Group in Fairborn, OH is responsible for coordinating inbound/outbound, planning, distribution, and customer service for the site. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year of warehousing or DOT-related experience.
• Data entry, filing, and telephone/email correspondence required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key Customer Service Representative and central hub between customers, site personnel, carriers, planners, and drivers.
• Receive order requests, identify availability, and prepare for shipment.
• Plan daily loads and coordinate inbound/outbound requests using warehouse/transport management systems.
• Communicate inventory, sales requirements, and delivery scheduling with the customer team.
• Ensure special customer requirements are entered into workflow and actioned.
• May attend regional deliveries to validate processes and manage expectations.
• May supervise clerks and provide guidance on internal issues and customer concerns.
• May conduct Safety Resource Officer trainings for new staff.
