Job summary

Kenco Group in Chattanooga, TN seeks a detail-oriented logistics professional to oversee inbound and outbound processes, manage inventory levels, and act as the primary Customer Service Representative among customers, site personnel, carriers, and planners.

You will handle order requests, coordinate load planning, communicate inventory updates, and ensure safety and DOT compliance while supporting warehouse clerks and coordination tasks.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
• Performs general administrative duties including data entry, filing, and telephone/email correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned inbound and/or outbound processes and ensure proper workloads for floor associates.
• Maintain/manage inventory levels and report to customers and leadership.
• Serve as the primary Customer Service Representative and central hub between customers, site personnel, carriers/planners, and internal drivers.
• Receive order requests, verify availability, and prepare for shipment.
• Coordinate daily load planning, routing, and requests using warehouse/transportation systems.
• Communicate inventory, sales force requirements, and delivery scheduling with customer teams.
• Ensure special customer requirements are actioned and entered into workflow schedules.
• Assist with Logistics Coordinator duties as needed.
• May perform product functionality checks and attend regional deliveries to validate processes.
