Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Logistics Coordinator I to manage inbound/outbound, planning, and distribution for shipments. This role may cover specialized areas within inbound/outbound, customer service, returns, and inventory tracking.

You will coordinate workloads, monitor inventory, and serve as the central contact among customers, site personnel, third‑party carriers, planners, and internal drivers. Proficiency with WMS/TMS systems is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound and/or outbound processes and ensure workloads are distributed to floor staff.
• Maintain and manage inventory levels and report to leadership.
• Serve as the primary Customer Service Representative and coordinate between customers, site personnel, carriers, planners, and drivers.
• Receive order requests, confirm availability, and prepare for shipment.
• Coordinate daily load planning, routing, and coordination using warehouse and transportation management systems.
• Communicate inventory, scheduling, and delivery requirements with the customer team.
• Ensure customer requirements are actioned and entered into workflow schedules.
• Support Logistics Coordinator II duties as needed.
• Attend regional deliveries to verify processes and manage customer service expectations.
