Candidates should have strong proficiency with Windows tools, problem solving, and excellent communication. Familiarity with the automotive industry and QAD is desirable; attention to detail and solid attendance are essential

Qualifications

Proficiency with Windows-based software (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
Ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Good attendance history and dependable work record.
Familiarity with the automotive industry and QAD is desired.

Responsibilities

Provide printed bills of lading for parts shipped and prepare related paperwork.
Coordinate with Customer Service and Shipping to modify pick lists and expedite orders.
Maintain ASN lists and ensure shipping documents are complete and accurate.
Generate international bills of lading and attach NAFTA paperwork.
Call trucking companies for quotes on standard and expedited shipments.
Assist in pack line decisions and transmit mail and paperwork between DC and main office.
Train new shipping clerks on ASN processes when needed.
Maintain production numbers and create charts to show trends.
