Job summary

Pridgeon And Clay is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to process shipments per customer requirements and to manage receiving paperwork efficiently. The role involves loading/unloading with a forklift, creating manifests, and maintaining accurate QAD entries to support lean warehouse flow.

The selected candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, six months of shipping/receiving experience, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and familiarity with QAD/RF systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Six months shipping/receiving experience, including hilo.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and maintain stamina.
• Familiarity with QAD and RF systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick and stage parts using RF system per customer requirements.
• Verify parts are rust-free; move rusty items to hold container and label accordingly.
• Ensure shipments use proper containers and labeling per instructions.
• Create and apply shipping labels to containers as directed by supervisor.
• Verify accuracy of shipping labels and container quantities against bills.
• Enter shipping/receiving data into QAD.
• Load/unload trucks with forklift within designated windows; document paperwork.
• Maintain and operate department forklift and daily checklists.
