Job summary

Pridgeon & Clay Inc is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to act as a liaison between Customer Service, Shipping and Distribution, ensuring accurate domestic and international paperwork and billing functions in line with company quality policies. The role requires proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word, strong problem solving and communication skills, and excellent organizational abilities.

Experience with QAD and familiarity with the automotive industry are desirable.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Windows-based software, specifically Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively and professionally interact with internal and external customers.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide printed bills of lading for parts shipped from the distribution center and prepare related paperwork for domestic and international shipments.
• Interact with Customer Service and Shipping to modify pick lists and expedite orders; maintain records of usage for charges to customers.
• Perform advance shipping notification and maintain an ASN list with pertinent information.
• Ensure shipping documents are complete and accurate; correct errors in QAD and confirm orders.
• Generate and complete international bills of lading and attach NAFTA paperwork as needed.
• Call trucking companies to obtain quotes for standard and expedited shipments.
• Assist pack line and shipping/receiving in decision making when leaders are off grounds or on vacation.
• Receive and distribute mail and paperwork between distribution center and main office; manage invoices, bills, quality info, and manifests.
• Train new shipping clerks on ASN billing procedures.
• Maintain production numbers and charts; identify trends and communicate to Team Leader.
