Logistics Coordinator

We’re a young, dynamic, technologically progressive, and rapidly growing logistics company in the pharmaceutical delivery space in search of a Logistics Coordinator to support our Cincinnati, OH area customer.

What is the Pay?

$55,000-60,000 Per Year.

When Would You be Working?

Monday - Friday 4:00 am – 12:00 pm & Saturdays 4 am - 12 pm (Saturdays are work from home days).

Where Will You be Working?

2139 Auburn Ave Cincinnati, OH 45219.

Duties:

1. Scheduling drivers for routes
2. Interaction with customer and internal operation employees in the field.
3. Coordinate deliveries, ensuring clients’ delivery times are met.
4. Ensure compliance with all customer requirements.
5. Facilitate an adequate pool of independent contractor drivers for deliveries.
6. Prepare reports for clients and company management.
7. Daily assigning of drivers via eCourier software.
8. Weekly meetings with operations to review service levels and quickly implement corrective actions when necessary.
9. Conduct business meetings with Independent Contractors (IC’s) when necessary.
10. Recruitment of new vendors (IC’s).
11. Covering open shifts as needed due to emergency situations or business needs.
12. May be required to work non-traditional hours (e.g. on-call or weekend work).
13. May be called upon to deliver routes in emergency situations when the driver is not available.
14. Some travel between different work sites may be required (you will receive mileage reimbursement).

You're a Perfect Fit For This Position if You Have:

1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
2. A combination of industry knowledge and management experience (preferred).
3. A strong and assertive personality for a pharmacy role.
4. Previous management and customer service experience (1 year).
5. A positive, team-oriented attitude.
6. Ability to fulfill tasks from beginning to end and identify where follow-up is required.
7. Excellent organizational skills and an ability to track multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
8. Consistent adherence to corporate and departmental policy and procedure.
9. High School diploma or equivalent - This is a must.
10. Ability to lift 0-50lbs.
11. Ability to work with others as well as independently.
12. Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office suite, email, and eCourier (a plus).
