Job description

Position Description Summary: Responsible for shipment scheduling, dispatching, planning, tracking, and tracing. Coordinate freight claims, provide rate quotes, analyze rates, monitor carrier quality standards, and deliver customer service.

Principal Accountabilities: (The following describes the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations):

1. Create scheduling and shipment plans
2. Interface with Transportation organization and analysts
3. Prepare rate proposals for customers
4. Determine the most appropriate carriers based on company policy
5. Ascertain delivery requirements based on company policy

The individual in this position must be capable of performing all essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Knowledge and Skills: (The following minimum requirements are guidelines and should not hinder the advancement of qualified personnel):

• This is a coordinator position. Good interpersonal skills required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Generally prefer 3-6 years of experience.
