Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to own the inbound logistics process for client orders and manage product flow from manufacturing through to the warehouse. You will coordinate movement from European facilities to the U.S., ensuring on-time delivery and readiness for customer orders.

The role requires experience with SAP or similar ERP systems, and familiarity with major retail accounts. Onsite work in Alpharetta, GA, with potential for growth into a Logistics Manager role.

Qualifications

• In-depth experience with SAP or a comparable ERP/logistics system.
• Experience handling major retail accounts (e.g., Walmart, Aldi, Trader Joe's, Target, Meijer).
• Strong communication and coordination across multiple time zones.
• Proficiency in Dutch or German language is a plus.
• Ability to work onsite in Buford, GA, with Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE COMPANY

A growing, established company in the food & beverage manufacturing industry, with strong retail partnerships.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Our client, a growing food & beverage manufacturer, is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to own the inbound logistics process for placed client orders and manage the flow of product from manufacturing through to the warehouse. This includes coordinating the movement of product from European manufacturing facilities to the U.S., ensuring it arrives at the warehouse accurately, on time, and ready to fulfill customer orders. The Logistics Coordinator will work closely with the European team, brokers, and freight forwarders, acting as a key link between manufacturing and distribution, with the potential to grow into a Logistics Manager role over time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage inbound logistics for placed client orders
• Coordinate closely with the European team on order status and shipment planning
• Schedule and coordinate shipments with brokers and freight forwarders
• Order containers of product for shipment from Europe to the US
• Book, schedule, and coordinate transportation and delivery logistics
• Serve as a key point of contact across the international supply chain

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with SAP or a comparable ERP/logistics system
• Experience working with major retail accounts (e.g., Walmart, Aldi, Trader Joe's, Target, Meijer, or similar)
• Strong communication and coordination skills across time zones
• Bilingual ability a plus; Dutch or German language skills strongly preferred
• Able to work onsite in Buford, GA, Monday–Friday (earlier start time a plus, for European coordination)
