Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP is seeking a Controller with logistics industry experience to join our CAAS practice. The role will manage financial planning, budgeting, and reporting for clients in distribution, trucking, warehousing, and 3PL sectors.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, about 7 years of relevant experience, and strong GAAP knowledge. CPA is preferred but not required; travel to client sites is expected, with in-office work and potential local/regional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; combination of related experience may be accepted.
• 7 years of relevant accounting/financial experience; logistics experience preferred; public accounting experience a plus.
• CPA certification preferred but not required; strong knowledge of accounting software/systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal control policies and procedures for budgeting, cash management, and accounting.
• Coordinate financial planning, budgeting, procurements, and investment activities; prepare financial information.
• Prepare/oversee financial statements and reports for regulatory bodies.
• Advise on short- and long-term financial objectives and actions for management.
