Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA) is seeking a Controller to join its CAAS practice, serving logistics-focused clients across distribution, trucking, warehousing and 3PL. You will lead financial planning, internal controls, and reporting to support client growth and strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree (CPA preferred but not required), 7+ years of accounting/financial experience (Public accounting a plus), and proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CPA preferred but not required.
• 7 years of accounting/financial experience; logistics industry preferred.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Proficient with accounting software; QuickBooks preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Travel to client sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal control policies for budget administration, cash and credit management.
• Coordinate financial planning, budgeting, procurements, or investments.
• Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, budgets, or reports required by regulatory agencies.
• Evaluate needs for procurement of funds and investment of surpluses and make appropriate recommendations.
• Monitor KPI and staff performance; implement improvements.
• Communicate with boards, bankers, and investors; prepare presentations.
