CLA is seeking a Controller for our CAAS practice focused on the logistics sector, including distribution, trucking, warehousing, and 3PL clients. You will lead financial planning, internal controls, and strategic guidance for client engagements.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of accounting/finance experience, with logistics exposure highly preferred. CPA is a plus; travel to client sites is possible. In-office work in Minnesota region with competitive compensation.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree is required. Combination of related experience, education and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• 7 years of relevant accounting/financial experience required; logistics experience highly preferred; public accounting experience preferred.
• QuickBooks experience is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and related software.

Mansioni

• Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting.
• Coordinate and directs financial planning, budgeting, procurements or investments; prepare financial information.
• Prepare/direct preparation of financial statements and reports required by regulatory agencies.
• Evaluate needs for funds procurement and investment of surpluses; make recommendations.
• Monitor KPI and financial performance; supervise accounting staff.
