Job summary

OEC Group is seeking a customer-focused logistics professional in Minnesota to manage freight solutions and shipment updates. You will coordinate ocean and air shipments, troubleshoot issues, and work with carriers and warehouses to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires data-entry proficiency, strong communication, and familiarity with logistics software. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, and a standard 40-hour workweek applies.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships and provide freight solutions, quotations, and shipment updates.
• Coordinate and track ocean and air shipments, including pickups, deliveries, and container returns.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve transportation and logistics issues.
• Collaborate with carriers, trucking companies, warehouses, and other logistics partners to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to company SOPs and compliance standards.
• Review invoices, resolve billing discrepancies, and process AP/AR transactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer needs are met and shipments are handled efficiently from start to finish.

About the Position

Work Schedule

• Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST

Computer Skills

• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CargoWise is a plus.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience dealing with a high volume of data entry

Salary

$50,000-$60,000 annually based on education and experience level.
