Northwest Arkansas Council seeks a Logistics Claims Manager in Lowell, AR, with AR/NY/CA adjuster licenses. The role investigates, files, and resolves cargo and logistics claims, focusing on settlements and risk mitigation.

The candidate will review documentation, negotiate settlements, and maintain auditable claim files while coordinating with carriers, insurers, and operations. A valid multi-state adjuster license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED with 4-5 years of experience in claims, transportation/logistics, warehouse operations, insurance, relevant field, and/or military equivalent.
• Valid Arkansas, New York, and California Adjuster's License (Property and Casualty).
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Risk Management, or related field.
• Experience managing both transportation and warehouse/cold storage claims.
• Demonstrated success in settlement negotiation and revenue-driven claims resolution.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and adapt to a dynamic work environment.

Responsabilités

• Investigate and manage cargo, warehouse, and related logistics claims.
• Advocate for the customer and ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Review bills of lading, delivery receipts, and contracts to validate claims.
• Collect data to determine liability and pursue subrogation when appropriate.
• Coordinate settlements and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Manage settlement and disposition decisions per agreements.
• Maintain audit-ready claim files and regulatory compliance.
• Identify trends and contribute to mitigation strategies.
• Explain processes to internal and external parties clearly.
• Engage legal counsel as needed to manage risk.
