StartupNWA in Lowell, Arkansas, seeks a Cargo Claims Intake Representative I to manage cargo incident communications and documentation. The role acts as the initial point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely action plans and accurate records.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00AM–5:00PM (may be adjusted). The position emphasizes data accuracy, compliance with regulations, and collaboration across teams to mitigate exposure and support audits.

Qualificações

• Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED with less than 1 year of experience in Transportation/Logistics, Claims, Insurance, Customer Service, or related field.
• Preferred Qualifications: professional demeanor, empathy, problem reporting, decision making, composure under pressure, adaptability, effective communication, collaboration, and documentation.
• Typing at least 40 words per minute.

Responsabilidades

• Efficiently manage inbound and outbound communication through calls, emails, notifications, and customer portal interactions regarding cargo related incidents with the potential of financial exposure; apply independent judgment, detailed claims analysis, and procedural guidelines to ensure accurate and optimal mitigation of exposures related to cargo claims
• Uphold company guidelines and applicable laws; assess information, identify missing or updated claim details, and establish timely action plans
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry across internal and customer systems and monitor timelines
• Leverage communication skills to cultivate relationships with customers and colleagues to move claims forward
• Coordinate remediation efforts with stakeholders; identify regulatory implications and document remediation actions
• Contribute to development and refinement of incident reporting procedures
• Request and document all contractual, financial, and DOT-related claim documents for investigations and audits
