Job summary

The role requires collaboration with Purchasing and IT to onboard carriers and may involve travel up to 15%. The ideal candidate has 1+ year in logistics, strong Excel skills, and experience with transportation management systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field or equivalent experience required.
• At least 1 year of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain or related.
• Hands-on experience with TMS and/or YMS systems.
• Process oriented with a methodical approach to problem solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, VLOOKUP).
• Finished vehicle logistics experience a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Drive carrier performance to ensure timely delivery and quality of finished vehicles.
• Input shipment data into TMS.
• Ensure data integrity across YMS and TMS; audit reports daily.
• Coordinate capacity planning with carriers, railheads, and service centers.
• Communicate KPI results weekly and implement corrective actions.
• Leverage data to identify waste trends and drive corrective actions.
• Identify, document, and roll out logistics processes as needed.
• Ensure safety procedures are established and enforced.
• Liaise with Purchasing and IT to onboard new carriers.
• Resolve freight pay discrepancies.
• Support Yard and Rail Operations as needed.
• Represent Rivian in industry groups (e.g., ALEC).
