Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Analyst to manage transportation management processes such as procurement, freight bill audit, and shipment planning to meet customer requirements.

You will interact with clients and carriers, prepare performance reports, and drive continuous improvement across accounts. Strong analytical and communications skills are required, with experience in TM systems and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• College degree/Technical Certification in Business, Logistics, Transportation
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation preferred
• 2+ years in industry related experience required
• 2+ years in experience in custom and flow of freight and Transportation Management
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access & PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage KPIs and perform root cause analysis using TM systems.
• Provide data processing, reporting, and analysis to support customers.
• Interact with clients to resolve problems and coordinate implementations.
• Collaborate with internal SMEs to resolve issues and support implementations.
• Prepare weekly/monthly customer metrics and performance reports.
• Support TM procurement activities to achieve best cost/service.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives and monitor results.
